The Duaghter of Jairus and
the Woman with the Flow of Blood
I Century
The affliction of the woman with the flow of blood
lasted the same time that the daughter of
Jairus had been alive, and their healings were approximately
simultaneous. To many patristic writers, they
symbolise the Gentiles (who wore out their living
on useless medecines) and the Jews (children of
distinguished parents), respectively.
Under construction --- far from complete! Read with caution.
