Victorius of Aquitaine
V Century
Gallic scientist interested in numerical computing.
He compiled a multiplication table in Roman numerals and made other advances,
but is best remembered for having proposed a chronology of world history
and a (related) method for calculating the date of Pascha very popular in the
West during the VI, VII, and VIII Centuries.
