Turkish Orthodox Church [religious organisation]

Jurisdiction composed of Turkish-speaking Orthodox Christians, established in 1924 by Fr. Euthymius Karahisarithis-Erenerol and at the time viewed positively by the Turkish government, but deemed uncanonical by mainstream Orthodoxy. The jurisdiction continues to exist, but with very few members despite attempts at super-patriotic nationalistic appeal.
