"Non-Chalcedonian Orthodox" Churches
Also called ORIENTAL ORTHODOX
Those Christian churches which accept the
first three Ecumenical Councils but reject Chalcedon
were historically known as Monophysite, even in their
own literature, but recently they have tended
to instead call themselves "Miaphysite", to
distance themselves from Eutychius whom they in
fact have always condemned.
