John Glen King
XVIII Century
Rev. King, a clergyman, scientist, and keen observer,
was the Anglican chaplain in St. Petersburg during part
of the reign of Catherine I. His 1772 book Rites and
Ceremonies of the Greek Church in Russia was long the
most detailed source of information about Orthodoxy available
to English-speakers.
Under construction --- far from complete! Read with caution.
