Jesus II, Bishop of Pachoras
XII Century
One of the last bishops of Faras,
reigning in catastrophic times when
Nubia was invaded by Egypt. In the opinion of the
"Polish school" of Nubian historians, he was probably
Melchite (Eastern/Chalcedonian) Orthodox rather than
miaphysite.
