Arabic RAWUH AL-QURAYSHI
VIII Century
He converted from Islam to Christianity after seeing a
vision during the Orthodox liturgy. He was
martyred under Haroun al-Rashid on Christmas Day 799.
Some people think the Saracen in question
was St. Anthony, but there are significant differences
between this account and the similar incident in Anthony's vita.
